A small red bat with its wings spread, three colors, eighty stitches across. The smallest chart here and the fastest thing in the shop to finish.
Free, and sized for the things small pieces are actually good for: a card, a hoop ornament, a patch on a project bag. If you want to try a Halloween piece and have one evening, this is the one.
Like the way this chart reads? Every Halloween pattern in the shop uses the same layout, the same legend and the same file set.
DMC 817 Coral Red Very Dark is the body and wings, DMC 938 Coffee Brown Ultra Dark shades underneath them, and DMC 310 Black adds the eyes in forty-one stitches.
All three are listed with symbol, stitch count, skein estimate and strand count in the PDF legend and in the CSV thread list.
Print at 100% or Actual Size rather than Fit to Page.
At 80 by 73 stitches this finishes under six inches on 14-count. If you want it smaller for a card, stitch it on 18-count and it comes out at about four and a half inches without changing a single stitch.
