# How do I get my pattern after paying?

The download link appears on the order confirmation screen immediately after payment and is also emailed to the address used at checkout. Every purchase is available again at any time from the My Account area. Nothing is posted; there is no shipping and no waiting.

---

# What file formats does a pattern come in?

Each pattern is a ZIP containing a US Letter printable chart, an A4 printable chart, a one-page mobile chart for tablets and phones, a Pattern Keeper edition, a DMC thread list in CSV with stitch counts and skein estimates, and a finished-look PNG preview. Print the PDFs at 100 percent or Actual Size; scaling to fit the page changes the chart scale and makes the grid squares uneven.

---

# What does "no backstitch" mean?

It means the whole design is worked in full cross stitches. There is no outline stitching over the top, no half or quarter stitches, and no French knots. Outlines that appear in the finished piece are made from single-square runs of whole crosses. Most patterns in the shop are charted this way, and every product page states its backstitch status.

---

# How much fabric do I need?

Divide the chart width and height in stitches by the fabric count, then add about six inches to each dimension for margins and hoop grip. A 140 x 210 stitch chart on 14 count aida finishes at roughly 10 x 15 inches, so a piece of fabric around 16 x 21 inches is comfortable. Every product page lists the finished size on 14 count and the recommended fabric cut.

---

# How many strands of floss should I use?

Two strands is the usual answer on 14 and 16 count aida. On 18 count, one or two strands both work depending on how much coverage you want. The thread lists in every pattern assume two strands, and the skein estimates are calculated on that basis with a working margin.

---

# Can I get a refund?

Digital files cannot be returned once downloaded. Refunds are given when the file will not open and cannot be fixed, when the chart has a genuine error and no corrected version can be supplied, when a customer was charged twice, when a customer bought a pattern they already owned, or when a customer has not downloaded the pattern yet and changes their mind. Email support@cloverstitchery.com with the order details.

---

# What am I allowed to do with a pattern I bought?

Stitch it as many times as you like for personal use, and give or sell a piece you stitched yourself. You may not share, resell or redistribute the files, and you may not republish the chart.

---

# Do you make custom patterns from photos?

Yes. Upload a photo, describe what you would like, and choose the chart size, level of detail, backstitch preference and fabric count. A proof is sent for approval before the final files, and the finished set arrives in three to five business days. Photos with one clear subject, even light and a simple background work best.

---

# How do I pay?

Card payments and PayPal are both accepted at checkout. Prices are shown in US dollars by default.

---

# Is there a phone number?

No. Support is handled by email at support@cloverstitchery.com.
